The Artist

Soulful musicality. Theatrical storytelling. A sound rooted in Motown, Jazz, R&B and Gospel.

Grace Young is a dynamic and multifaceted entertainer whose artistry blends soulful musicality, theatrical storytelling, and the rich traditions of Motown, Jazz, R&B, and Gospel. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Grace was raised with strong Gospel and Motown influences and studied Musical Theatre at the world-renowned Juilliard School in New York.

As a creator and storyteller, Grace is the writer, creator, and performer of the original musical Choices, an innovative work that combines music, storytelling, and social awareness. Beyond the stage, she is deeply committed to philanthropy, education, and community engagement, using her artistry to inspire, connect, and uplift audiences.

Grace has captivated audiences throughout the United States and internationally, with performances across Europe, Japan, and China. Her theatrical credits include Beehive, Smokey Joe’s Café, and Mama, I Want to Sing. She has also performed extensively with the Harlem Gospel Singers and recorded her first Gospel album with the group.

Most recently, Grace and The Grace Young Experience brought their electrifying celebration of Motown, Gospel, Jazz, and R&B to the Harlem Meer Festival in Central Park. The performance had audiences dancing, singing, and on their feet throughout the celebration.
