Bill Shea is a free-lance photographer working out of Newport, Rhode Island. He concentrates on yacht racing and marine lifestyle photography.
His sailing photographs regularly appear in sailing magazines and online. Awarded first place in a juried photo exhibit hosted by the Newport Photo Guild in 2018.
Bill is the photographer for the Newport Yacht Club (NYC). The members lounge at the NYC is exclusively decorated with large canvas prints of his images.
The December 2016 issue of Points East Magazine featured one of his images on the cover.
Bill grew up in Newport and has been involved in its yachting and yacht racing culture from an early age. In his free time he is often sailing with friends and family.
